Welcome to our PTA section of our school website.
We are a committed group of parents and staff who support school by fundraising and organising social events for the school and wider community to enjoy.
Everyone is welcome, whether you’d like to become a committee member, attend a meeting or help out at an event. Every contribution is valued.
We hold our committee meetings for around 1 hour every 4-6 weeks and the times alternate between a 3.15pm meeting and a 6pm meeting.
The main reason to join our PTA is to help to be part of organising and running fund raising events throughout the school year that will and do help make a difference to your child’s school life.
There are many more advantages, here are just a few...
Please keep an eye out for our notice board at the front of school, like our FaceBook page ‘Royton Hall Together’ and follow us on Twitter @roytonhalltogether

Who are the PTA?

Fundraising and Spending
2018/19 has been another successful year for our PTA. We began our year with a Halloween disco raising £1016. At Christmas we held a craft fair and this brought in £945. The Easter disco generated a total of £1000 together with our sponsored Bunny Hop which made an additional £2458. We ended our year with our ever popular Summer fair which raised a grand total of £2770.
Spending is agreed at our PTA meetings. The Headteacher has a wish list and the PTA like to say yes to funding items which are used across school.
During the school year 2017/18 the PTA raised money for a new sound system costing over £10, 000. We have also paid for the mural in the school hall which cost approximately £2, 000. In addition we have purchased maths resources to use across school and contributed towards the Year 6 leavers treat.
This year our fund raising events will pay for a whole school treat at Christmas time...watch this space for more details.
We are looking forward to another successful year in 2019/20 and would like to thank you all for your continued support.
