National Schools Sports Week

The annual National School Sport Week campaign takes place in the last week of June every year to celebrate the important role of Physical Education and school sport in enhancing young people's wellbeing.

All young people deserve to enjoy the life-changing benefits that come from play and sport. That’s why this year we’re asking our pupils’ families to take part in National School Sport Week at Home while we join in at school.

Here you can access the Youth Sport Trust free national campaign and register your own family. Their aim is to unite the country - families, schools, sport and businesses - in a celebration of the power of sport to bring people together, even during isolation.

The UK-wide campaign will challenge people to take on their families, friends and neighbours in virtual sporting challenges – helping them to connect in an unprecedented period of school closures and social distancing. Why not register and challenge your friends to take part with their families!
