Fantastic work

Some of our Reception children have become amazing authors during lockdown and have created their own versions of The Gingerbread Man story.

Take a look at how amazing they are!!

:)

During the Coronavirus lockdown, the children in Reception have been keeping busy at home. They have worked hard on their phonics, completed maths and literacy activities, done lots of cooking and baking, taken part in science experiments, got stuck into crafts, helped with jobs around the home and kept fit with regular exercise.

We are so impressed with all your hard work. Well done!

November 2018 - We have been looking after the babies in our baby care role play area this week. We worked together to look after the babies, feeding them, changing them and administering medicine.

November 2018 - We have enjoyed doing our maths outside this week. We collected as many tennis balls in the hoops as we could against the timer and then counted them and found the matching number card.

October 2018 - Isaac and Zain worked together to build a race car. They discussed their plan and what they would need, with each other. The boys were really proud of their final product.

Great team work!

September 2018 - We've been working on hearing, saying and forming the initial sounds in words. After doing our pre-writing stretches, we looked at the sound at the start of 'Spiderman' and 'Snow White' and painted them onto the floor with water.

September 2018 - Riley loves reading books in his independent learning time. He used the pictures to retell the story and predicted what might happen next. He also encouraged other children to come and read with him.

Well done!
