March 2019 - Megan, who is only 3 years old, did a fantastic job of ordering the numbers to 10 completely independently. Well done Megan!
November 2018 - Kyle and Riley were working together to find shapes in the outdoor learning space.

November 2018 - We have been looking after the babies in our baby care role play area this week. We worked together to look after the babies, feeding them, changing them and administering medicine.
November 2018 - We have enjoyed doing our maths outside this week. We collected as many tennis balls in the hoops as we could against the timer and then counted them and found the matching number card.
October 2018 - Isaac and Zain worked together to build a race car. They discussed their plan and what they would need, with each other. The boys were really proud of their final product.

October 2018 - Reuben and Riley have been testing out their yoga moves in the gym area this week. Namaste
October 2018 - This week we have been working on building strength in our fingers to help us with our writing. We had a great time doing 'Dough Disco' and then made 's,a,t' letters in the sand.
October 2018 - Nursery have been enjoying making marks on big rolls of paper. They practised anticlockwise and clockwise movements, as well as up and down and zig zags!
October 2018 - Pippa and Lilly have been practising their literacy skills this week.
Pippa used her phonics skills to segment and blend words in the phonics area. Lilly segmented and blended the word 'caterpillar' and wrote it down to label her picture.

October 2018 - Isaac, Reuben, Zakir, Kyle and Riley have been doing some fantastic reading, story telling and sharing this week with the 'Lego Superhero' books which were donated to school by a parent.
September 2018 - We've been working on hearing, saying and forming the initial sounds in words. After doing our pre-writing stretches, we looked at the sound at the start of 'Spiderman' and 'Snow White' and painted them onto the floor with water.
September 2018 - Riley loves reading books in his independent learning time. He used the pictures to retell the story and predicted what might happen next. He also encouraged other children to come and read with him.
September 2018 - Ruby and Maisie worked together to put the numbers in order. They couldn't find the number 4 card, so found a number 4 in the magnetic numbers to replace it. Good thinking girls!
September 2018 - We have been working hard this week to count to 10, recognise the numerals and put them in order. Georgia was super speedy and helped her friends if they were stuck. Well done Georgia!
February 2018 - After the visit from the 'Owl Man', the Reception children independently wrote about what they had seen.

February 2018 - Phoebe, Bobby, Jonson, Alfie, Jack, Stephen and Luke worked as a team to build a 'limbo' frame. They then encouraged all the other children to join in the game and challenged each other to see how low they could go under the bar!
Great team work!
January 2018 - Ruby Walker-Smith has 'wowed' the staff in school with her fantastic writing! She independently re-wrote the story 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'.

December 2018 - Xander Barlow put in super effort with his homework this week and found lots of different shapes around his home.
